FALSE ALARM AGAIN

I need to do a better job at not preemptively announcing my tumblr-lockout.

Because of some techno-trouble that’s too long to explain, I can’t log into tumblr. So someday I’ll probably just disappear from tumblr until I get a smartphone, if tumblr logs me out and I, thus, can’t log in. Thank goodness for cookies currently.

Which is why I set up some drafts to say “bye,” and I’ve been good at making sure those aren’t posted. Usually.

I also can’t send asks.

(Slight attempt at techno-trouble: I had my login email be my phone-to-text email address, so I can send text-like messages to update tumblr, because I don’t have a smartphone. When I went to change the email to my gmail email, tumblr sent a verification URL to my phone, which it can’t read entirely, so it can’t be verified. And it’s not like tumblr staff is going to help someone who used Missing E (actually, that still might be in use from time to time). I hope a smartphone would, then, receive the full email including verification url.)

Isn’t it terrible how tumblr teases you with a glimpse at the dashboard behind the post you’re reblogging then gives you no viable way to get to it since you have no idea how far back it exists?
